- Economy and middle class cars are available for rent from the minimum age of 21 years
Car examples: Renault Logan, VW Polo Sedan, Skoda Rapid, Skoda Octavia, VW Passat, VW Tiguan.
- Premium class cars are available for rent from the minimum age of 25 years

- You should have at least 12 months driving experience to rent economy and middle class cars.

It is not obligatory to have an international driving license, but your driving license is required to be in roman alphabet. All drivers must present valid driving license and passport issued by the same country.

To rent a car you need:
- Valid passport
- Valid national or international driving license
- Credit/debit card (to rent a premium class car 2 cards are required)
- Confirmation of booking or voucher (in case a prepayment was done)

Yes, there is a car delivery to hotel. We guarantee a non-fee car delivery within Minsk at working hours. (9 AM-6 PM office in Minsk and 10 AM-7 PM office at the airport).

Yes, it is. Working hours of our office at the airport are from 10 AM to 7 PM, Minsk downtown office working hours- from 9 AM to 6 PM. Nevertheless, you can take a car at any time upon request. It will cost you additional 25 € per rental period.

Yes, you can. In case you decide to change a car group, clarify the final price at rental desk. Please, note that the rate can be changed and the final price can be higher/lower.

Following groups of cars are high (premium) class cars: gr. H (Mercedes C-class), gr. L (Mercedes E-class), gr. O (Audi Q7), gr. M (VW Multivan).

No, we can not. While booking you choose a definite car group, not a brand. There are different brands and models in each group similar in size, transmission type, car cabin and trunk spaciousness. For example, group D samples are Skoda Rapid, VW Polo Sedan, Ford Focus with automatic transmission.

2.1. How can I modify or cancel reservation?
Choose «modify/cancel» at the main page. Then insert your surname and reservation number and confirm your action at the next page. Change or cancel your reservation you can also by contacting us at 24/7 support number +375 44 712 24 45. Option «modify/cancel reservation» is free of charge.
Note, that modification or cancellation should be made at least 3 AVIS working hours before the beginning of the rental.

3.1. What insurance is included in the rental price and what does it cover?
Standard insurance coverage: collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection (TP) is included in the rental price. Standard insurance means that you have responsibility in the amount of 1000-1500 €. The responsibility of the renter varies accordingly to the car group.

It is a rental condition meaning you must pay for the car damages in case of some accident within the sum of your responsibility. The sum of franchise is blocked on your card during the rental period.
The sum of responsibility of the renter varies in the amount of 1000-1500 € accordingly to the car group.

Full insurance encompasses theft protection (TP) and collision damage waiver (CDW). You have no personal responsibility/franchise. Purchasing full insurance package you held none material responsibility in case of damages or theft (providing that you called traffic police!). This is the guarantee of your calmness during the driving. There is no deposit on your card.
Thus, you have 2 options: a) to purchase standard insurance package with a deposit on your card (franchise) and b) to purchase full insurance package without a deposit on your card.
The amount of full insurance varies depending on car group and is 25-50 € per rental day.

No, it’s not. It is up to you. If you buy full insurance there is no deposit on your card (so called insurance without franchise). Otherwise you purchase insurance with franchise (when a deposit is blocked on your card).

Yes, in case you don’t purchase full insurance we block a deposit on you card at the beginning of rental period before you sign the agreement.

We block a deposit for the rental period. We guarantee to unlock the money at the end of the rental period. Banks, in turn, unlock the money during 30 calendar days.

We unlock a partial deposit in certain cases when the renter: uses additional options (GPS unit, Wi-Fi so on), returns the car later than specified in the agreement, returns the car with damages, without full tank.

The following damages are always on the renter’s responsibility and are not covered by standard and full insurance:
- Upholstery damages caused by tobacco smoking or gashing.
- Driving with flat tires.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, controlled or illegal substances.
- Driving off-roads or in areas not intended to car driving.
- Collision with high objects (bridges, doorsteps, edge stones, branches and other highly located objects).
- Damages or theft of the keys and the underside of the car.
- Damages of the car interior.
- Loss of the car documents.
- Damages resulting from transporting the car by sea or by river.
- Damage or theft of the driver’s personal things left in a car.
- Damages done by animals
- Water damages to the car, its electrical system, accessories or engine.
- Damages to the car caused by putting fuel, water, oil or other solvents in a wrong tank on the car.
- Intentional damages or damages due to gross negligence on the part of the driver.
- Damages caused by war, revolution, civil unrest, or riots.

We apply the following rates:
1000 € for groups: B (Renault Logan), C (VW Polo Sedan), D (Skoda Rapid), E (Skoda Octavia).
1300 € for groups: G (VW Passat), H (Mercedes C-class), J (VW Tiguan), M (VW Multivan), L (Mercedes Benz E-class).
1500 € for group O (Audi Q7).

5.1. How can I pay the booked car?
You can use different methods of payment:
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, Master Card)
- AVIS vouchers and AVIS cards (Charge card, President’s Club)
- Cash and non-cash payment
- Bank transfer/ international bank transfer
In case you pay by cash or by fixed value vouchers we need valid payment card for Agreement.
Please note that Maestro, American Express и Diners Club cards are not accepted for payment!

6.1. What documents will be provided at the time of a car pick up?
You will be provided with all car documents, invoice and agreement copy. After the rental You will also get all reporting documents.

It is necessary to check the rental car and all the documents at the moment of pick up. Once you notice any damage inform a rental agent about this immediately. Make sure you are familiar with car devices. Feel free to ask a rental station manager any questions.

Yes, you can. In case you decide to take a high class/low class car group at the rental station, just do not forget to clarify the price. Note, that the rate can be changed and the price can be higher/lower.

All our vehicles are full fueled. Fuel is not included in the rates. You can drop off the car with full tank or choose a «prepaid fuel» option (tariff varies accordingly to the car group) and drop off the car with unfilled/empty tank.
Otherwise for vehicles without the same quantity of fuel, a refueling service will be charged in addition to the cost of the missing fuel in the amount of 2€/liter.

In case of a car accident you: a) report the accident to the rental station, b) call “102” traffic police number, c) formalize the car accident.

Smoking in a car is forbidden. Otherwise a cleaning / air ionization service fee will be charged in the amount of 100 €/50 € accordingly.

Traffic police request personal data about a driver on the basis of the photo images of violations in the head office of AVIS. Then you will receive a penalty by post and pay it by one of the methods specified in the notice.

8.1. How can I return the car to AVIS rental station?
At working hours you drop the car off at the rental station (Minsk international airport, office in Minsk or other place upon a request).
If you drop the car off at non-working hours at the airport (from 7 PM to 10 AM) just leave the vehicle at the free of charge parking lot near the airport, and put the car keys and documents at a Key Box. Note, that you bear full car responsibility until the office is open.
Dropping the car off at non-working hours at Minsk office (from 6 PM to 9 AM) is available upon request and will cost you additional 25 €.
